Come Fly with Me (2010 - 2011)

Starring David Walliams and Matt Lucas (Little Britain) the show comes in the style of a documentary following members of staff of an airport. The show mocks documentary and reality TV formats, especially Airport and Airline. Many of the sketches exaggerate and make fun of situations familiar to airline customers. For example the device found at the check-in counter, that can be used to check whether the dimensions of the hand luggage exceed the allowed size, has a letter box size opening. A punchline of many sketches is that staff of low-cost airlines trick customers into buying extras at inflated prices. In other situations the comedy is driven by staff members who mindlessly act in pursuit of incentive and bonus schemes at the expense of customers. And of course there is a fair amount of stereotypical bad service, pranks by employees and habitual bad behaviour.
