Starring Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson and Nigel Planer the show has a simlar setting as the later programmes Filthy, Rich and Catflap and Bottom. Set in a house shared by four students and with copious amounts of mayhem, confusion and anarchic humour the programme compares to The Odd Couple seem like LSD compares to coffee. Ben Elton who co-wrote the material and would continue the collaboration with Filthy, Rich and Catflap. The show is also notable for live performances of famous contemporary bands among which are Madness, Dexys Midnight Runners, Ken Bishop's Nice Twelve, Motörhead and The Damned.
